From residential driveways to rural acreage and commercial site prep, every job is scoped clearly, priced honestly, and executed with the field judgment to do it right — without cutting corners or creating new problems in the process.
Most property issues aren't complicated — they just need the right approach. We make sure they're handled correctly the first time.

Fountain City is built on two decades of real environmental consulting, field documentation, and regulatory experience — applied directly to land services and site work. The judgment to assess conditions, execute correctly, and document properly is what separates this from a standard field operation.
20+ years of environmental assessments, SWPPP management, sampling, and regulator interaction — combined with geology and environmental compliance training. We know what matters and what doesn't.
No vague pricing. No radio silence. Honest estimates, clear timelines, and direct communication from start to finish.
Field execution, documentation, and coordination — handled correctly from start to finish. We don't hand you a report and walk away; we stay involved until the work is done and properly documented.
Environmental and land problems don't all need the same answer. We assess what's actually needed and deploy the right approach — avoiding unnecessary cost and future issues.
We support contractors, developers, and commercial property owners with stormwater compliance, BMP management, environmental field documentation, and incident response coordination across the KC metro and surrounding communities.
Weekly and post-rain compliance inspections, NPDES permit support, and corrective action coordination across the Kansas City metro.
Silt fence, super silt fence, inlet protection, rock check dams, wattles, and erosion blankets — installed correctly and maintained on schedule.
Sediment-controlled dewatering, discharge point management, and documentation that keeps discharge water within NPDES requirements.
Inspection reports, photo logs, corrective action records, and start-to-finish incident coordination — documentation that holds up to regulatory review.
"Environmental problems don't all require the same response. We help you deploy the right team the first time — saving critical time and unnecessary cost."
Field execution, documentation, and coordination — handled by someone who has worked on both sides of the compliance conversation. Whether you're managing a construction site, responding to a spill, or addressing a stormwater violation, you get experienced, practical guidance with the follow-through to close it out correctly.

A Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) is required under the NPDES Construction General Permit for most construction sites disturbing one acre or more (and smaller sites that are part of a larger common plan of development).
The SWPPP documents how stormwater runoff and erosion will be controlled, requires routine inspections, and must be maintained on-site. We manage SWPPPs end-to-end — from plan review through final stabilization.
A SWPPP is the written plan that documents stormwater compliance for a site. BMPs (Best Management Practices) are the physical controls — silt fence, inlet protection, rock check dams, erosion blankets, sediment basins — that the SWPPP requires to be installed and maintained.
We do both: plan management and field installation.
For active spills, releases, or NOV (Notice of Violation) responses, we triage by phone immediately and mobilize as fast as logistics and conditions allow. For scheduled compliance work, we typically schedule within one to two weeks.
